Video: Spontaneous Human Combustion

We all have our off days. Today might be considered one of them. I'm trying to decide if I want to run a Gag Reel for the "How To Build a Tube Chassis Front End" build because there are over 300 video clips to sort through to find a few minutes worth of goofs.

Well, even though I am still on the fence, this is absolutely one video blooper that needs to make it to the pages.

RULE #1 regarding flammable liquids and Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) - Do NOT use flammable solvents while wearing absorbent gloves.

Yes, I failed. Moments before the tube was tacked in, I gave it a thorough cleaning with solvent for a nice clean weld. However, I did not take my work gloves off. The result was a glove soaked with very flammable liquids like a wick on a lantern. It was an accident waiting to happen.

The great news is that my hand is just fine, and the build will continue all the way until completion without medical delays!
